A Wonderful Morning of Creativity
There’s something special about spending time with friends, being creative and overlooking the Cornish coast.
Yesterday morning brought a little more wind than we’d hoped for, but thanks to the wonderful team at the Merrymoor Inn we had the perfect sheltered spot to continue painting while still enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Mawgan Porth.
One of my favourite moments at every lesson comes right at the end… when everyone holds up their finished painting. Each one is different because every person sees the world in their own unique way, and that’s exactly how it should be.
You don’t need years of experience to create something you’ll be proud of. Once you begin to understand the fundamentals of how we really see, confidence grows surprisingly quickly, and painting becomes far more enjoyable.
A huge thank you to this lovely group for such an enjoyable morning, and to the Merrymoor Inn for looking after us so well. Even the Cornish weather couldn’t stop the creativity!
