Why my signature is 'Gin' not 'jeanni'

I call myself 'Jeanni' but I sign my art 'Gin'.

My full name is Jean Elizabeth Grant-Nelson, and so my signature is:

'G' for Grant, then the

'i' is the hyphen on its side and dotted

'n' for Nelson.

'J' for Jeanni is the long tail of the 'G' in my signature.

The 'Jeanni'  is' Jean + E' for Elizabeth,
but I spelt it my way with an 'i'!

I was JBGin to include 'Blaxall' when I was married but reverted back to 'Gin' afterwards.

I am often asked what medium I teach?

This is more than a medium.

I teach the grammar, spelling and punctuation of art…
the psychology and physics of how we see.

I work with a specialist acrylic that can behave like watercolour or oil…
but the medium is only the vehicle.

It’s the knowledge that gives you the skill…
and that transfers to any medium.
