Another Painting Finds Its Forever Home… 💙🎨

One of the greatest joys of being an artist is seeing a painting connect with someone so deeply that they simply have to take it home. That's exactly what happened today when a lovely lady fell in love with one of my paintings, and it began its journey to its forever home.

Moments like these never lose their magic. Every painting carries memories of the place that inspired it, and it's a privilege to know that those memories will now become part of someone else's home and story.

Days like today also remind me why I love spending my time painting and teaching in Mawgan Porth, Cornwall. The local community, together with the wonderful visitors who return year after year, create such a welcoming atmosphere. It's the conversations, the smiles, the encouragement and the shared appreciation for this beautiful stretch of coastline that make every day such a pleasure.

As both an artist and art teacher in Mawgan Porth, I feel incredibly fortunate to spend my days meeting people from all over the world, sharing my artwork, teaching others to paint and helping people discover abilities they never realised they had.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat today. Whether you're visiting Cornwall for the first time or you've been coming here for years, your kindness and enthusiasm make this one of the loveliest places imaginable to paint and teach.
