My online art lessons are fun, informative and engaging for all ages and abilities… complete beginners, nervous returners, young artists, hobby painters, and anyone who wants to understand art properly.

Most people are not “bad at art”. They have simply never been taught the grammar, spelling and punctuation of art.

Once you understand sketching, perspective, tone, colour, light, brush technique and how we truly see, everything starts to make more sense. You are no longer just copying blindly. You begin to understand what you are looking at and how to create from your own view of the world.

These are the same Visual Awareness principles I teach through Art At The Beach in Mawgan Porth, Cornwall, adapted for online learning.

You can learn through live Zoom lessons, or through my pre-recorded online course in your own time.

And you are not left on your own afterwards. I am always there in the background to help, re-explain, encourage and keep you on track with short 5–10 minute check-ins whenever needed.
