One of the greatest privileges of being an artist is creating artwork that becomes part of someone else's story.
This original painting of beautiful Mawgan Porth has now found its forever home with a wonderful couple who wanted something even more personal. I was delighted to paint both of them, along with their adorable dog, into the scene, creating a unique piece that captures not only the landscape but also a treasured memory.
That is one of the things I love most about original artwork. A painting can preserve more than a view. It captures a feeling, a place, and a moment in time that can be enjoyed every single day.
Living and working as an artist in Mawgan Porth, Cornwall, I meet people from all over the world who fall in love with this beautiful coastline. Being able to create artwork that reminds them of happy times here is a genuine privilege.
