Today’s lesson wasn’t on the beach, but it was just as heartwarming.

This beautiful painting was created by one of my students — a truly fantastic lady — and it’s of her equally gorgeous cat, basking in the sunshine. Just look at the softness, the light, the expression. She’s captured not just the cat, but the feeling of a quiet sunny afternoon perfectly.

What an absolute star she has been. A brilliant session filled with focus, laughter and that gentle excitement when everything starts to come together.
