TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2026

Art At The Beach by Jeanni Grant-Nelson in Mawgan Porth, Cornwall, has received the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for 2026.

This lovely news arrived while I was finishing a personalised Mawgan Porth commission, so it felt right to take the photograph in front of the painting.

I’ve just received my TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for 2026, placing my art lessons and experiences in the top 10% worldwide.

This is now the eighth year I’ve received this award, which means so much.

Thank you to everyone who has booked an art lesson, bought a painting, commissioned me to paint something special, invited me to run an event, trusted me with their families, their teams, their memories and their creativity.

And thank you especially to everyone who has taken the time to leave a review for the art lessons, experiences and events. When what you do is slightly different, those words really do matter. They help reassure the next person that this way of teaching art… through seeing, understanding, confidence, perspective and awareness… really does work.

I’ve been painting, teaching and exhibiting in Mawgan Porth for around 10 years now, and this place continues to be such an important part of my work and life.

A special thank you too to Bettys Surf Shop, who have given my work, my students’ work and Art At The Beach such a lovely home in Mawgan Porth.

So this is a very grateful little moment.

Art Lessons in Mawgan Porth and Online

My art lessons are designed for complete beginners, returning artists, families, professionals, companies and anyone who wants to understand art more deeply.

Rather than teaching people to copy me, I help students understand what they are seeing and translate that into line, tone, colour, shape, form and perspective. The aim is to build confidence, unlock awareness and give each person a framework they can continue using long after the lesson has finished.

Lessons are available face to face in Mawgan Porth, Cornwall, and online through my Visual Awareness course.
