Mawgan Porth holds a special place in my heart. For over eight years, it’s been my open-air studio and classroom a place where I’ve painted, taught, and shared the joy of seeing differently.
You’ll often find me there, easel in the sand, tubes of paint at my feet, capturing the ever-changing sky, sea and light as it moves across the bay. It’s where so many breakthroughs have happened for me and for my students.
Many of these paintings were created right on the beach, plein air and in the moment. You can also see a large selection on display at Betty’s Surf Shop in the village a little gallery by the sea.
