Dolphin Delight, St Michael’s Mount, Cornwall brings a moment of magic to Marazion Bay. In this work, a dolphin arcs across the foreground sea, the island and castle rising in soft focus behind it. The light is delicate and the mood quiet - between marine movement and stillness of land.
Mike’s style often weaves nature and Cornish iconography together. Here he gives us both the sea’s fluid joy and the solid presence of a well loved landmark, letting the two converse in one frame.
