Heritage and Tradition – Pasty Perspective of Wheel Coats, Tin, Mine Engine House near St Agnes comes from Mike’s Oggy Art Series No 06. The image combines Cornish mining heritage with a touch of local character - a pasty placed amidst ruins of Wheal Coates Engine House, old tin works and cliff top remains. Earthy tones, stone textures and coastal light are balanced in a scene that nods to both history and daily life.

Mike’s visual voice often brings Cornwall’s industrial past into dialogue with its present life. This work deepens that connection - combining the grit of mining ruins with the humour and warmth of local symbols.
