“Gull” captures a moment of effortless freedom above the Cornish sea. A lone gull glides across an open sky, with the horizon softly defined and the coastal light expansive and calm.
Through simplicity of composition and the use of space, I’ve explored the feeling of openness, clarity and quiet movement — inviting the viewer to pause, breathe and shift perspective. Inspired by Cornwall’s ever-changing coastline and skies, the artwork reflects both stillness and possibility.
