Mussels on the Beach

By Annette B

£65.00

Original Painting by Annette B
Medium: Acrylic on canvas board
Size: 10 in × 8 in
Location / Subject: Mussels on a Cornish beach

Mussels on the Beach is a lovingly observed study of shells scattered along the shoreline. Annette B captures the texture, pattern and quiet presence of these small natural forms, highlighting their curves, shadows and connection with the sand and sea.

Her sensitivity to detail and place makes this piece feel intimate and grounded. The result is a simple, tactile artwork that invites you to lean in and notice.

Different Artists, Individual Styles

My gallery brings together my own paintings and work by students I have taught, each developing their own artistic voice.

From careful detail to expressive colour, the variety reflects what happens when knowledge gives you the freedom to create in your own way.

You’ll find the artist named in each product’s details. Take a peek at their stories and discover the people behind the paintings.

Knowledge, Not Copying

I teach the grammar, spelling and punctuation of art… the understanding behind what we see, so you can choose how to express it.

My students don’t learn to paint like me. They learn to observe, understand and create in their own style. Let’s see what you’re capable of…
